I just had to color this, it was calling my name for color. X3 I actually was there when Noel drew this of Tabi, it really did turn out awesome.

I really like how the coloring came out on this, I love cel shading by the way, it's my prefered digital coloring style. Fear the style. Fear the Tabikat! This Tabikat is for an idea Noel and I are playing with with my Tabikat and his Leo.

Word of warning: No boobs jokes, no boob comments, if that's all you're going to say about this image, I would rather not hear it, Noel did an excellent job on Tabi and I don't want his work or my work or my character even demeaned because someone wants to point out the obvious statement that she is in fact female and females do have boobs, get over it, all of us do...and by the way, Tabi's boobs are large because MINE are large...get OVER it..

It certainly looks impressive. That's one of the coolest coloring jobs I've ever seen.

But yes, Noel did do a wonderful job. As did you with the coloring. May I ask, is this vectored? And what program did you do it in (if nothing other than PS or oC)?

Excellent job with the shading. My only quirk is the fact you didn't round out the levels of shades. Its very sharp when it comes to a bend. The pen tool would have solved that, or using the next color with a large rounded out brush to even it out.

Otherwise it came out great

Like I said to Noel, its an incredibly cute change of style to the way I've seen Tabi drawn previously. And it certainly suits as well.

I think you did a great job coloring XD i like the hard angles and all, gives a nice cartoony kinda feel ^.^
